i get  the following errors when apt-get installing muse:

ldconfig: /usr/lib/libgpg-error.so.0 is not a symbolic link

ldconfig: /usr/lib/libgcrypt.so.11 is not a symbolic link

I'm not sure where or how to set up the "symbolic link"

To be honest Jpeters I've tried so many different combinations of things I'm a bit confused how I got it all working...I am running DSL 3.3 with Alsa and just did an apt-get muse from the old repository. I'm such a newbie I couldn't tell you what is going on! Sorry!
Kind-of got it loading  (using ver 3.2) by loading opengl-libs.dsl first and doing a link :   "ln -s  libGL.so.1.2 libGL.so.1"

Now I get to play with ALSA....

.

Jpeters..just for your info...I've started (again!) from scratch today. booted up dsl 3.3. Went to old repository ( second line down in sources.list ).
Got fluidsynth. Got muse. So far so good!

I have found in Muse:

1) It seems to hang although music keeps playing. Then you have to kill the program. A real shame :(
2) I haven't imported a wav yet.  Can't be sure if it's working with Alsa ( Alsa is selected in Muse but I'm not sure what's working).

Thanks for showing us that ti p above - you are more advanced than me! If you make any more progress please let us know. You are welcome to try to get fluidsynth working in Muse! :D

When you try to run deb2dsl to keep Muse in the menu, on a reboot it doesn't start from the menu...I have to re-install doing apt-get update.
