you would need to connect to the xp host via network. grab samba.dsl and try it out.
DSL embedded works with a Microsoft Network file share connection.

So you can share your Windows drive on the network as "CDRIVE" or something like that.

Then you can either use the built-in smbclient tool inside DSL for an "FTP-LIKE" connection to your Windows fileshare, or you can use the above mentioned samba.dsl extension to make a connection.

You need to have "Windows File Sharing" turned ON inside your MS Windows settgins, though.

I've just tried tried that & I can't seem to get it to work yet.

Can it read NTFS shares?

is your C: drive shared?
