User Feedback :: Sending



I ordered my copy of DSL yesterday :). Any ideas how long it will take to get to me (I live in Surrey, England)? Anyway, it looks great!
I don't know if I am going to be a regular on this forum, dont quite understand my school ICT rules. (Unfortuantely, ignorance is not an excuse, I could get banned for this post ;)

Please, anyone have any idea how long it will take? I ordered the 80mm round yesterday and live in Surrey, England.
Sorry  I don't know since I download the ISO from ibiblio.org.
Downloading takes about 7-9hrs on my 56k modem.
Don't worry about it. Im at school at the moment, so I cant download. Is it worth it? I cant wait. Also, could you give me some details about the live aspect of it. I understand it runs from cd, but does anything need to be written to HD. New apps? Also, since Windows is based on readable partitions, are live cds not a safety risk, because you could simply mount the windows partition and read it freely?

it should be possible to use it even without a hardrive...
