HD Install :: How do i mount the knoppix image?

Hi, i'm sure this has already been answered, but i can't find it anywhere.
What FS type is the knoppix image in DSL?
I want to mount it under another distro but i can't get it to work..
Could somone please give me an example of the mount command.... please....
