HD Install :: Disc Partition

I need help making a disc partition... ok it shows that i have hda1 and hda2 ... I have windows on hda2 and it doesnt say what is on hda1 so ... should i use this or create a new one
i tried using fdisk to make a new one but i got confused ... anyone have any input..

How about trying cfdisk. Might be easier for you.
