HD Install :: vmware tools install

on gsx server 3 and workstation 4, the pulldown option just inserts a 'ghost' cd in the drive so you can mount it and read the .tar package; you still have to read it in, untar it & run a perl script to perform the installation. It's all described in the vmware help files.
