HD Install :: Need some help on installation

ok im trying to get dsl to install on my comp, but when i try to install to the hd  it starts partoning it then says writing super blocks and file system information: done and freezes any ideas?



it freezes at a random place each time, either then or when its writing tabels, any ideas?

edit: my box AMD 64 (s-939) 3000+, 6600GT, 1gb ram, 40 gig hd
