HD Install :: How to Save/Load autoconfig?

I've recently installed to hard drive, and tried frugal-install.
It works perfectly on fanless box, but the boot, it autodetects all the hardware every time.
With a fixed hardware, is it possible to save the configuration, to avoid this autodetection and improve boot times?
