HD Install :: install from usb/net

I'm running an epia 800, no cd drive, usb 1 (slow) only. I wish to get DSL onto the hd.

I can boot from the usb, however if I try to do hd install, it fails - is this just me or does a hd install not work from a usb install?

Is it possible, once booted from the usb to install from the net?

In short, how do I get DSL onto a hd when I'm limited to no cd drive?
