Oh, wait... NOW that you've got the OS installed on your box, and it's up and running, you'll want to do these things quickly to make sure it's in top shape, and stays that way!!

Who says LINUX is hard ?? ?? ??
73 ke4ntABSOLUTELY! I'm laughing out loud! ABSOLUTELY! It's absurd the time that we spend to keep a W** box running when 99% that it's used for is web surfing and some light word processing and spreadsheets.haha, that really is alot of inconvenience, especially when you see it all in a long, very long list. Thanks for the laugh. (Actually why am I laughing? Thats just not right.)Well, I had a similar question (how to do frugal w. existing linux distro and GRUB bootloader) earlier. I did a frugal install as mikshaw, cbagger and stoneguy suggested it (Thanx, folks!) and it really blasts on my home PC (Celeron 600MHz, 192MB RAM) with the 'toram' option. Good to see it working like this!
