HD Install :: hd partitioning



I would try taking a look at it with Partition Magic (PM). Sometimes playing with partitions with PM or fdisk can cause a HD to refuse to mount until you fiddle with it again. If PM can see it, it should work with cfdisk. I use PM to resize windows partitions in preparation for linux installs. Do not use PM to set up your new linux partions though -- let cfdisk do that.
dont worry dudes fixed it, all i did was load ms fdisk and delete my C: partition, i then loaded linux and fdisk worked just fine. thanks for the help.
