HD Install :: havin trouble with dsl pickin up com 2 port

yeah am still trying to get dsl to pick up my mouse in com port2, use ctrl alt backspace to do xsetup.sh but still having problems seems as if dsl cant pick up the com2 port and ideas? can i possibly place an ttyS1 command during boot up
any and all help appreciated!

Boot with this command at the "Boot:" prompt:

dsl xsetup

and then choose ttyS1 when prompted.
