hello heres my problem i run this in xterminel sudo su
cfdisk /dev/hda and get this FATAL ERROR Cannot Open DISK DRIVE what gives thanks

Not sure I understood your issue.

try typing this into an Xterm.

sudo cfdisk /dev/hda

In other news, punctuation is your friend. Please use it.
