HD Install :: Instal on Compaq Proliant Double P Pro Raid 5

I'm trying to make a cvs/ssh/ssl server on my Compaq Proliant Double P Pro Raid 5 server from many years ago. My raid is a hardware styled raid. I have 5 4.3 gig drives. Is it possible to configure my raid/server settings from within linux? Preferrably DSL?
