HD Install :: liveCD Boot Failure

Did you try booting with the:

dsl vga=normal xsetup

boot command?

Don't wanna that crappy linux console style view. Me wants x.

From your answer, I would have to call that a "no".

Otherwise you would know that the command will eventually get up into a graphical XWindows desktop unless your video card refuses to adhere to any standard graphics BIOS commands.
