HD Install :: Hd install on 8mb ram pentium labtop

I want to install DSL on a toshiba satellite with only 8mb/ram pentium processor for use this machine as an VNC client.

I will can do this? or I need more ram???

You need more RAM.

You can give Basic Linux a try, but even it will probably need more RAM, too.
