HD Install :: boot from hd to ram

I was wondering if there was an easy way to load the whole dsl into a ram disk on startup

so like, I'd install it, add some custom things (where is gcc?)
then some magic would happen and there would be the image that could be loaded into my ram if I chose that option on startup

Booting the cd with the 'dsl toram' boot option will accomplish this, so maybe you can add that option to your bootloader
