HD Install :: reboot problem

(I don't know if this is the right section of the forum... ???)

I will first tell about my problem.

If I instal dsl everything goes well... I get dsl.. And I can work in dsl (surfing is not jet a option.. I must buy a network card..) I've played xpacman :D

But when I reboot.. The computer ask for a system disk... So he don't start dsl.. My dad says that the bootrecord don't work well to see that dsl is a operating system...

But when i put the bootfloppy in de floppydrive he begin to install dsl from the beginning.. and in the end i can work whit linux...

Ok I should tell here how I installed it..

I've burned the iso ion a cd and it worked wel.. But the old 486 can't boot from the cd drive..

So my dade ript a Windows95 bootfloppy and put up some dos codes (for me it's al acracadabra) and he installed a driver in the memory...

Now I can copy al the files from the cd to the c: to install dsl.. Everything is going right..

But when I reboot the computer he doint start up linux...

Specifications:

486 cpu: 66 mhz
Memory: 48 mb
hd : 2 * 400 mb
Floppy drive
Cd Drive 2*

I've been busy for 2,5 day to get dsl linux working.. And it still doin't work! :(

Does Someone know how to solve this problem??

Thanks for now!

Try making a new bootfloopy using a different empty disk.  Your floppy disk may be damaged.
