HD Install :: Partitioning nightmare

What type of hd-install did you use?

Try `rmmod via-rhine` then `modprobe via-rhine` then run `netcardconfig`.

Note that the MyDSL browser relies on the internet being active.

The hdinstall I selected was LILO.

When I go to the DSL ATerminal:

rmmod via-rhine
I get the response:
module via-rhine is not loaded

modprobe via-rhine
I get the response:
/lib/modules/2.4.26/kernel/drivers/net/b44.o: init-module: no such device
Hint: insmode errors can be caused by incorrect module parameters, including invalid IO or IRQ parameters.
You may find more information in syslog or the output from dmesg
/lib/modules/2.4.26/kernel/drivers/net/b44.o: insmod /lib/modules/2.4.26/kernel/drivers/net/b44.o: failed
/lib/modules/2.4.26/kernel/drivers/net/b44.o: insmod via-rhine failed

netcard config
I get the response:
bash: netcard: command not found

A frugal lilo?

Which version of DSL are you using?  I think there was a changeup in the b44 module.

Note that "netcardconfig" is one word, and that it can't be used it if the module does not load.

guess it's DSL 3.2

Check "System Stats" for the version.

For now I think you can try a 3.3 RC or 3.0 ... can't remember which one's exactly.
