HD Install :: MediaVision Pro Audio Spectrum 16 Sound card query

Hi, I've made a frugal install of DSL on my hard disk, but it crashes with these error messages:

Found SCSI devices loaded by pas16.o

Probing IDE-SOFTRAID ... pcraid.o

with the 'Caps Lock' and 'Scroll Lock' flashing on and off.

My MediaVision Pro Audio Spectrum 16 Sound card has a SCSI port on it; I believe that it is this is what is crashing the system; how do you insert the settings to turn off this SCSI port, because DSL just loads up automatically and then hangs; thank you.

Thank you for your last post, and I have tried your suggestions, but now I have a different problem: How to input the scsi setting on a frugal hard disk install; any suggestions?
