HD Install :: make command

okay I have dsl 3.2 on my old laptop and when I try to compile the drivers for my wireless lan card I get an error:

make: cc: error command not found

what am I doing wrong I have the kernel source packages installed, the gcc package, and the libc6 package and it still won't compile.....

thats what I needed to read, I'll let you know how it turned out

okay it got past the first module, but on the second it says:

cc: Internal Error: Killed (program cc1)

I have no idea what I'm missing.
