HD Install :: How to upgrade DSL form an HD installed DSL ?

Keep up with this nice work

How can I upgrade my current HD installed DSL installation to the latest version ?
I have no CDROM : only USB and Ethernet connections

DSL on Toshiba Portege CT3100 (P2 300 Mhz + 128 Mo RAM)

If you are using a frugal, you can try the following:

- download the latest release
- reboot with toram
- extract KNOPPIX/KNOPPIX and replace the one your hdd
- double check release notes for subsequent versions (since your original dsl version) that may affect your backup.tar.gz, change as necessary, etc
- reboot & enjoy
