HD Install :: run dsl linux like w98

i am beginer n newbie for linux, dsl linux very nice. my old cpu can run dsl. specification of my pc :
intel pentium 166 mhz
ram 96 mb
harddisk 1 gb (include win98 inside)

but for first boot, dsl ask cd dsl linux which i burned from iso file. how do i run dsl linux like win 98, and run dsl pure from harddisk?

If you can boot DSL from the CD (I'm not sure from reading your post) you can then install to your harddrive from that live cd system. There is more info about harddrive installs in the DSL wiki:
http://damnsmalllinux.org/wiki/index.php/Category:Installing_DSL

Please read there, and if you have any *specific* questions feel free to come back here to post.
Note the "frugal" section there. It is a harddrive install that runs very much like a liveCD, and is used by a large number of people.
