HD Install :: Frugal install - how to run e2fsck

How do I run e2fsck? I get several error messages at every boot.

Ext2-fs warning: maximal mount count reached, running e2fsck is recommended.

I tried to unmount hda2 and run it from a terminal but can't unmount while in dsl. So how can I run it ?

They need tp be unmounted.
Boot with
dsl 2 toram base norestore
Then at the prompt run your command
Afterwhich, just reboot
