HD Install :: DSL bootable from a:/?

Can someone please tell me if dsl is bootable from a floppy? I think that is part of my problem as my cpu does not recognize the cdrom. If so (which I hope is possible!) can you direct me where to go to dl the floppy bootable drive? Thanks a lot!

There are floppy images in the "current" directory of your neighborhood DSL mirror.

Do you know about changing your cmos/bios settings to allow booting cdrom before harddrive? Modern pcs are often not set to do this right out of the shop.
