HD Install :: Two quick questions

hi all,

thanks for looking here. just want to get my DSL tip top.

1)How can I get DSL to setup my wireless connx automatically? if i go through wlcardconfig, it remembers all my settings from last time, so can i automate it? also, i have ndiswrapper set to auto detect my card, but for some reason i have to do it again in the control panel before it lets me do wlcardconfig. any help for automating?

2) This seems a silly question, but how do i go about removing some apps, including myDSL apps which i d/loaded but now dont need to use.

1. Set them in /opt/bootlocal.sh
I think after running one of the config tools, a script is generated in /opt as well...

2. What kind of install do you have? See wiki for more info

2. Im on a HD install, not frugal or anything. I had a look in the wiki, some help, but not sure about how to get rid of other aps.

2. Just to be sure - for myDSL extensions: http://damnsmalllinux.org/wiki/index.php/Removing_A_MyDSL_Extension

For "others", I guess you mean the pre-installed applications?
You'll have to remove each file manually.
