HD Install :: "Transform into debian" how to

Hi, since i dont have a fast internet connection, I am planning to download DSL and transform it into debian within time. How can i read a how to about it?

And secondly, will DSL recognize my hardware? That's a big problem for me because I'm just a newbie and dont know how to install hardware in Linux.

It's a live cd try it and see if your hardware works before you install. I recommend you do not rush to install, play with it awhile so you can get the hang of it.
