HD Install :: Can't enter New Root Password

Hi,

I hope my english isn't to bad to understand ^^

If I install DSL on my HDD and then reboot
then DSL wants to have a root password!
if i now want to enter one, is it not pissible!
And my PC dosn't react anymore.

I hope you can understand my english^^ I know it is terrible, isn't it?

ok the prob is that DSL doesn't recogniz my keyboard at the startup!
But what can I do? i will try a othr keybord!
