HD Install :: freezes with 56k modem



It happens "mainly" when starting google-earth or youtube videos.
I experienced a freeze in thunderbird only, too.

Even the total screen or everything but the mouse freezes.
Always when I try to start a youtube video it freezes my OS.
When starting google-earth the same thing.

I'm using dsl 0.9.2

Maybe it's not the modem, or it is not the OS at all. It couls also be my machine. I don't know. Perhaps you have an idea.
As most often It was NOT the fault of DSL itself.

I had changed my graphics card from Matrox Millenium 4MB PCI -> Matrox Mystique 2MB PCI.
Now the Millenium is built in again and everything is fine :)
