HD Install :: Upgrade 2.4 to 3.01?

what if i replace the folder and contents /boot/isolinux with /isolinux and make the calls accordingly... now from /isolinux and call linux and minirt.gz instead?

I imagine that would probably work. If you have a backup you may want to initially boot with the "norestore" option.
