HD Install :: steps for dual boot

hi, i want to dual boot dsl and win2k on an old laptop i have, but i don't have much experience with linux and such. the hd on the laptop has two partitions, one with win98 and other with win2k. i was going to wipe out the win98 partition and install dsl on it - but then what steps would i have to do have it dual boot?
