HD Install :: crash on hd-install?

I'm attempting to install DSL on an old 233mhz machine, and every time I attempt to install to the hard drive it just sits there. I can't move the mouse or do anything but shut it off.
I've waited a while... perhaps 20 minutes. Am I just impatient?

Please help!

Does your computer have a SIS hd controller? If you have then enable dma at startup "dsl dma" at boot screen, and it should work.

How much ram do you got? What install option are you using? Are you fully booted on cd or are you using the install cheat code?
