HD Install :: HDD install problem



Im installing DSL 2.2 on a 150 mhx, 34mg ram, 2.2 GB hdd. I boot into DSL with the live cd with the comand fb800x600 proceed to the hdd install. It promps me to reboot and when I do all I get is a blinking cursor in the upper left corner, how can I get it to boot?
I changed to a LILO install and it works, i wish I could have GRUB though.

I had the blinking cursor problem to.  I set up with grub.
So, I  hit the power reset.
I think the boot went further this time (Here I think I entered a new root password)
Then it locked again.
I hit the reset again, and the boot was normal to the DSL desktop.
So far it works !
Internet access is live.

I think the problem is with the reboot function.  If I shut down and then cold boot all is good,
