At first, i wanted to only use DSL, but then i noticed that it didnt like my modem, so i needed a way to have both XP and DSL on the same computer. I decided to share it with you all! 1.Open Xterminal 2. type sudo cfdisk 3. Delete whatever partition(s) you have. 4. Make a NTFS partition as hda1 5. Make a Linux partition as hda2 6. Write the partition table to disk 7. Proceed to HD install DSL 8. Make sure to install to hda2 9. When it asks you to choose a boot loader, choose Lilo 10. Finish the installation 11. Reboot 12. Choose "Linux" on the bootscreen 13. Answer whatever it tells you to do 14. Reboot 15. Boot from your Win XP installation disk 16. Make sure you install it to the NTFS partition And thats it! |
