HD Install :: DSL: Applet Not Found

I just tried an RC3 hd install and just before it completes ... I get the error message "dsl: applet not found". This message infinitely scrolls by until I enter ctrl-c.
I tried another dl > burn, with the same outcome.

I tried mounting hda1 and changing the password for dsl and root, but both users get the error message.

Has anyone else experienced this problem or am I just getting unlucky with my dl's?

RC2 installed perfectly and is chugging alonging.
