HD Install :: I did it!



My system is mounted as read-only and it won't let me download anything to my /home even as root, or do anything. And how do I set up my own user account? This seems a bit too insecure. Also i'd like to have Firebird on here to stay.
Look this howto over, and see if this works for you.
I think this will solve your MozillaFirebird problem and also allow you to
keep your own files. I have it set up on several machines, and it works very well.
