HD Install :: grub

hi..

grub installed likely on same HD where install took place, but that is not right...I 'm getting error 17 in grub boot, and wondering is there anyway to fix this ?

ie: grub needed to installl to hda ( because that is where windows is and it 'needs' to be first HD in system) not hdb which is where DSL installed....
