Thanks for the reply.  I have tried "dsl vga=normal", I have also tried "Failsafe".  It stalls everytime.  I have also tried it on three other machines.  It has failed to load on every one of them.

Any suggestions?  I thought of downloading DSL again...

This is just a shot in the dark, but that sounds like a similar problem I had. You might want to try using "dsl xmodule=vesa"
Thanks,

I will give it a shot...  btw, I have been able to get it to boot to a couple of DELL laptops, latitudes - D600???   ...consistently.

I have a Lexar 64MB USB Flash Drive that is detected at bootup and loads the DSL (0.8.4) prompt; however, when I type "DSL" it begins to load 'everything'.  It gets past the init. phase and eventually the screen goes blank and it stalls.  Any Suggestions?

Don't type DSL?

Just press enter.  Usually after the DSL you need to have an argument there like 'toram' etc.
