myDSL Extensions (deprecated) :: how to install a new dictionary in abiword.dsl?

hello,
I tried the dictionary source (from www.abisource.com) which contains a folder tree (usr/share...) and two files, namely the deutsch.hash file and a deutsch.hash-encoding file.

I copied the these two files into /usr/...abiword/dictionary/ but abiword does not recognize a dictionary.

Do I have to compile these files or can I just use the OpenOffice dictionaries like "DE_de.dic"?
