myDSL Extensions (deprecated) :: installed app problems

I have been installing apps from mydsl and when i click on either desktop icon or in menu they dont do anything. I have tried restarting to no avail

Which apps are you having trouble with? Try installing dsl-dpkg.dsl and gnu-utils.dsl.
