myDSL Extensions (deprecated) :: Mydsl not installed?

Okay, I recently downloaded and installed(HD install) the newest version of dsl. There is no mydsl shortcut on the desktop and none of the mydsl commands work. Also, when I try to use emelfm to run the program, it doesn't recognize or know what to do either. Any help would be greatly appreciated.(I am pretty new when it comes to  dsl so it'll probably be something easy to solve)
