I haven't upgraded since 0.7.3, but I've got the 8.0.1 iso here, and I'm building a MyDSL with it.
My question: is the old 4-cloops-including-root-limit still in effect? I'd like to have firefox, java, openoffice and samba (dances a bit), but that'd bring it up to five total cloop-mounts.Look under /dev I've got cloop thru cloop7 - for a total of 8

Heyyyy... There's no kernel limit on the minor number is there? If not, I mean, couldn't I just mknod /dev/cloop[8-15 or more] b 240 [8-15 or more] and get more cloops as needed?
