Apps :: Gnome & kde?
is there a way to install kde or gnome on dsl?
if yes how?
Well, it is possible to do it, but it is a long drawn out process. Definately not an easy thing to do if you're a newb. If you want to try, the instructions are somewhere on the forums. Just search for "Xfree86".
Honestly, though, it is a lot easier to just install Debian with the 2.4.26 kernel and Xfree or Xorg.
ow oke :s but i try to install it but with no success
(the dibian linux)
Teckniel, try Knoppix then.
yep, knoppix includes the stuff you want, you could apt-get xfree86, kde and gnome from dsl, it has been done (search the forums).
