Apps :: firefox extensions/themes don't work

Firefox is amazing - i don't remember it ever running this fast
but when i try to install a theme or extension,when i click the install link nothing happens
anyone know why that might be?

Make sure Tools>Options>Advanced>Software Update>Allow Websites To Install Software is checked, or try saving the file to your hard drive and then dragging it into Extension Manager.

how do you drag something? I mean... where would one drag it from?

i have the same problem.

i am installing jre1_5_0.tar.gz from the MyDSL panel and think that might clear it up. we'll see.
