Apps :: mplayer

has anyone tried to complile mplayer to work on DSL?

I am looking at installing that and I was wondering how it went?

If you want to install mplayer (assuming this an HD install), do a dpkg-restore, use apt-get to install gcc, g++, make, autoconf and automake. Then just download and compile, or just apt-get install mplayer. I think there's also a mydsl for mplayer.
