Apps :: problems with abiword and HP600

Hello, I have a problem using printing my abiword documents

In Abiword everything looks fine but when I print on a the sheet there appears a space after the letters ä, ö and ü.

Additionally the space after a word which contains an ä, ö or ü is cut off.

I do not know whether this is a printer problem or an Abiword problem.

Can you help me?
