Apps :: Problem with installing GCC from testing source

I edit source.list to testing
and apt-get install gcc c++ make
after it finish downloading
It asked me to upgrade glibc
Should I keep the old version ?
I both keep the old version and upgrade the new version.
but then after reboot, I notice that there is an error during boot.
It complains about portmap service error.
I fix it by remove portmap symbolic link on rc.x0
Could any linux expert give me an advice how to install them the right way without complaining the errors?

g++ you lamer :cool:

and first you need to run #dpkg-restore

sorry it's a typo error this thread
but I actually issue
apt-get gcc make g++
the install went fine until I reboot
I got the following error (probably from libc6) and I also can not mount thumbdrive anymore. Will this be fix in the next version ,John?

Starting portmap daemon: portmapld.so : Incorrectly built binary which accesses errno or h_errno directly ld.so: See /usr/share/doc/libc6/FAQ.gz
