Apps :: opera doesnt do the @

hi there
i installed the opera browser but it doesnt show the @ char in the address form or in other forms
though all other apps (shell, zile, etc) show it well
does anybody know this prob and an solution?

That's a new one on me. Maybe try the Opera forums?

This is an issue that has been around for a while, since 0.6. I don't use Opera because I don't like it. But I am curious, does it work on 0.6.2 after you do an 'enhanced install' where the GNU libs and utilities are restored?

Anybody try this yet?

hi there its me again,
couldnt fix it yet, so i tried mozilla instead, but with the same results.
but here i get an error which make me wonder if this could be the reason:
- c lib doesnt support locale-
might this be the reason for not showing the @ with german keymap

anybody any idea?
