ok, this is going to sound dumb, but what is the root password when running DSL embedded?

There shouldn't be one there by default.

hmmmm.....

When open a termnal, i type "su root" it prompts me for my password, and when i jsut hit enter, and dont give it one, it tells me that auth. failed

any ideas?

type sudo su and u will be there into root prompt.

this does not have any passsword.
