Have you changed your battery?

We just spent weeks here with computer issues that were mostly resolved when we changed batteries.

Would it be possible to underclock it? E.g. a 100 MHz fsb instead of 133.

I suppose, but why?

The battery holds the configuration in memory.  When the battery gets old the configuration can get corrupted or even lost.  Always good to replace it every 2 years.

i could nt find any reason for that and when a service engiineer is called he said its the fault of both RAM and Mother board.

He said both are  not functioning.

So i disposed them.

Anyway thanks for the suggestions.
